Root 66 Farms

Root 66 Farms is a pioneering company that focuses on hemp cultivation and genetics.  I was introduced to them shortly after they secured their seed round of funding. My role was more than just director of marketing. I also assisted with business development including consulting on tissue culture and white label services, as well as providing assistance in additional financial raises. Here are some of the highlights:

OUTCOME

• developed Root 66 brand based on the relationship to Pontiac, IL and Route 66 Highway system
• assisted in gaining Organic Certification for products
• secured a relationship with Hempliance – a leader in blockchain-based seed-to-sale compliance software
• created UX driven marketing (website, email and social media)
• created multiple product catalogs

RESULTS

• secured series A and B rounds of funding
• expanded to two locations in Pontiac, IL
• launched cloning facility with Agrecol
• setup tissue culture center with Pantheon Industries
• secured sale of clones for $200,000
